How We Use Your Information
1. When you use our website

When you use our website to browse our services and products and view the information we make available, cookies are used to allow the website to function, to collect useful information about visitors and to help to make your user experience better. Some of the cookies we use are strictly necessary for our website to function, and we don’t ask for your consent to place these on your computer.

What are cookies? Cookies are tiny text files stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages. At MightyAphrodite.co.uk we only use cookies placed by Google Analytics to anonymously track visitors to our site so that we may better understand how our site is used and so that we can improve the service that we offer.

Our Online Shopping partner, RomanCart, also use a cookie when you purchase from us. This is so that if you add an item to your basket, continue shopping on our website and add further items, the cart is able to remember your intended purchases until you are ready to go to checkout. Please remember that without this cookie, you would not be able to add further items to your shopping cart.

Please note that cookies can't harm your computer. We do not store personally identifiable information in cookies on our website. You have the option to restrict, block or delete cookies from mightyaphrodite.co.uk or any other website - you can use your browser to do this. Each browser is different, so check the 'Help' menu of your particular browser (or your mobile phone's handset manual) to learn how to change your cookie preferences. Please remember, however, that by blocking these cookies, you may not be able to use our online shopping facility.

2. When you submit an enquiry through our website

When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask you for your name, contact telephone number (optional) and email address. We use this information to respond to your query, including providing you with any requested information about our products and services. We may also email you several times after your enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered it to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information prior to a sale. Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is hosted by Microsoft and TSO Host. It is also logged on a CRM system on our office PC. We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you. We keep enquiry emails for 12 Months, after which they are securely archived and kept for three years, when we delete them. CRM records are kept for three years after the last contact with you.

3. When you make a booking or purchase something through our website

Our shopping cart is managed by RomanCart and uses a secure (https) connection. Romancart is Verisign secured. RomanCart stores the buyers name, shipping address, billing address, phone numbers, ip address, device details and details of any orders which are initiated whether or not completed. This information is used to provide ecommerce services between the buyer and Mighty Aphrodite including processing and recording orders. The information is collected when the customer initiates a transaction on Mighty Aphrodite's shopping cart.

Cookies are used to enable the persistance of a shopping cart throughout the buying process. This is to make sure that when a customer adds an item to the cart and then goes back to look at more items, when they return to the cart it still has their already added items in it. After you leave the website these cookies are destroyed.

Please note that NO credit card details are stored by Romancart If you click the button to pay by Credit/Debit Card you are transferred to our payment gateway Stripe. Stripe is one of Europe's leading independent payment service providers (PSP) and is one of the most trusted payment brands. Your credit/debit card details are NEVER passed on to Mighty Aphrodite under any circumstances.
